Ok confession – I was on the fence about the jeans at first! My favorite girls at Evereve brought them to me to try for the holiday photo shoot. And my first instinct —- laugh in their face. Which I did! ha ha. I had zero interest in trying these jeans. But I humored them and put them on….and fell in love!
These jeans are so far out of my comfort zone. But I see them on everyone else and love them. Embellished jeans are everywhere! And lets be honest – I’m kind of bored with the same ole denim I’ve been wearing for years.
This pair of denim struck a little cord in me – the cord that wants to be fun and edgy but still mom functional.
So – these jeans. They do just that! The mid rise is perfect for running around with your kiddos. You know that awkward moment where you bend over and you feel a draft…yea – not kosher for lunch in your kids classroom. ha ha. But they offer a fun, more edgy vibe than just regular ole mom denim.
And the best part – the metallic paint picks up almost any color you pair with it. I wore them with the most cozy Free People cowl neck sweater for the shoot. But I also purchased this ivory sweater and plan to wear them with these adorable, super comfy New Balance sneakers.
Moral of the story – they are bold. But fun. And functional. What more can a momma want!
