Easter Essentials for The Entire Family

If you’re like me, you wait until the last minute to prepare for ANY holiday! No matter how big or small. From Christmas to St Patricks day. I’m like the week (sometimes day) before. But this year I’m striving to do better. And thank goodness Easter gave me a little more time this year than last 😉

Easter Outfits

Being from the south, Easter outfits are a big deal! From casual, funky bunny’s to white ruffle socks and patent Mary Jane’s…dressing your kids for Easter is a big deal. I also love love LOVE supporting small shops. And ETSY never disappoints when it comes to kids clothes. Here are a few of my favorites for little boys and girls.

Easter Baskets

My how Easter baskets have changed since I was a kid. Nothing against the ones we had. But they were about as basic as basic can get! Nowadays, they have monograms and bunny ears, tails and decals. Here are a few of my favorites.

Easter Goodies

As for Easter basket goodies, I like to put a mix of practical/educational, toys, and of course – sweets!  The first few years our Easter baskets were stocked by grandparents, great grandparents, and cousins who sent boxes of goodies to P since we were still in spring training. So last year was my first year putting together baskets for both Parker and Hudson.  Here are a few Easter basket ideas!

Easter Books

The most important thing about Easter is the meaning behind it. And the best way to explain to a small child about the resurrection of Christ is through a book. These are a few of our favorite Easter books.

Easter Decor

I like to put a little “flare” of each season into our home. And my go to is with pillows! I think pillow cases are easy to store, and easy to swap out. But make such a big statement in your home once they are changed.
