The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a very much anticipated sale every single year! But to be honest…the quality of the sale is continuing to decline. In my opinion. So I shop the sale very differently now than I have in years past. I don’t splurge as much as I have in the past on trendy items that I may not like in a year or two. Instead I use this as a chance to stock up on basics, everyday essentials, and staple pieces for the whole family. - I shop for basics and essentials first. This includes things like underwear, Spanx, or my favorite Zella leggings or denim. Things that I already use and love and will need replacements in the future.
- Grab staple pieces that will get lots of use like winter coats, pajamas, or sneakers.
- Look for name brands that you wouldn’t normally want to pay full price for. I always look for Nike, Cole Haan, and The North Face first.
- I do usually get at least one pair of boots for the fall for myself.
- Sometimes I will grab one or two fun, trendy pieces but only if my budget allows.
