Memorial Day Round Up

Not in an attempt to lose sight of what Memorial Day is all about, but I love a good sale! Here are some of my favorite things that happen to be on sale today.  Read til the end for some of my favorite mom-owned kid shops! As much as I love big box stores, I love small shops EVEN MORE! (and I’ve linked their coupon codes — you’re welcome)

I’ve written about these jeans before, but trust me when I say they are worthy of multiple posts! They are the perfect length for short people. They are made as an ankle cut which hits at the perfect length. They are also super stretch but still denim. They don’t lose elasticity throughout the day but they are comfy enough to “mom” in. I literally have 6 pair! Because they are usually $30 each! Like WHAT! I don’t have to spend $200 to get decent jeans! Nope 🙂 Not if you’re short! ha ha. Oh and they are NOT sold at Gap. ONLY at the Outlet. They don’t even make this cut for “regular” Gap (or so I’ve found). Oh and during the summer they put out fun colors. So keep checking back 😉

I have this exact pair! Love the random dark fray at the bottom. And the “slits” hit at just the right spot. I wear them almost daily!

I have these too (ha ha). The white isn’t “see through” (you know what I’m talking about)

My obsession with clogs continues! I’m not sure if you can wear them in the summer but I’m doing it. Oh well! I wore a pair of black ones to dinner just this past week. I’m in love!

My current favorite “momiform” is a throw on and go T-shirt dress. Its a great length (not too short but definitely hits above the knee). And best of all….it’s $13. So buy ALL the colors! I love something that is ONE item and counts as a whole outfit! Saves time and laundry 😉

and yes I get my “style inspo” from the model in the photo (ha ha ha)

My favorite sneakers are by Clarks and their name is “Glove Puppet”. I stalked them out on eBay to find them in my size. Trust me…they’re worth it!!

I’ve been eyeing a pair of Jimmy Choo canvas slip-ons but I KNEW someone would make a knock off – thanks DV 😉

Ok – now for the kiddos! (this is where it gets fun!) I love shopping for tiny humans and small shops just really tickle my fancy! (do people even say that anymore? oh well…)  These are some of my MOST FAVORITE kiddo shops run by amazing momma makers.

I know there are a lot of moccasin shops out there, but I LOVE KnottyTots. I’ve purchased many moccs from Candace and her quality never disappoints! Oh and she makes the most adorable leather and/or suede pacifier clips — we own one of those as well! (coupon code INSTA30 for 30% off)

Thanks to another amazing baseball wife, we discovered Baby Bling Bows. Nordstrom carries a few different styles, but the website has the real goods. The fabric is similar to that of panty-hose (ok don’t lose confidence in me!) and they are one size fits all! They are amazing. Parker still wears them and has since….well….forever! (coupon code MEMORIAL17 for 25% off)

Nothing is better than organic, handmade kids clothes! And BelBambinos hits it out of the park! We were gifted one of her outfits and it is perfection! Now I’ve started giving their clothes to friends. (coupon code MEMORIAL25 for 25% off)
